Ballroom Basics (Learn to Ballroom Dance!) (sat) Map (Lesson)
This class is specifically designed for Beginning Ballroom Dancers and couples who want to learn to dance for their wedding reception. The class is six weeks in length, and is held in Ballroom B (downstairs) at Walters Dance Center. We rotate in class, so a partner is not needed. (You will learn faster if you rotate, but if you have a partner, you can choose to not rotate.)

At the end of the 6 week session, you should feel comfortable enough to attend our regular group classes and/or attend our Saturday night dances to have fun and to practice your new moves. As an added bonus, you will receive a FREE PASS to Walters Dance Center Saturday Night Dance on the last week of class.

The class is limited in number to allow for more personal attention (Pre-registration is required to guarantee a spot in the class.) The cost is only $35/person and includes six one-hour classes and a FREE PASS to a Saturday Night Dance at Walters!

Ballroom Basics! (Learn to Ballroom Dance!) (sat) Map (Dance, Lesson)
This class is specifically designed for Beginning Ballroom Dancers and couples who want to learn to dance for their wedding reception. The class is six weeks in length, and is held in Ballroom B (downstairs) at Walters Dance Center. We rotate in class, so a partner is not needed. (You will learn faster if you rotate, but if you have a partner, you can choose to not rotate.)

At the end of the 6 week session, you should feel comfortable enough to attend our regular group classes and/or attend our Saturday night dances to have fun and to practice your new moves. As an added bonus, you will receive a FREE PASS to Walters Dance Center Saturday Night Dance on the last week of class.

The class is limited in number to allow for more personal attention (Pre-registration is required to guarantee a spot in the class.) The cost is only $35/person and includes six one-hour classes and a FREE PASS to a Saturday Night Dance at Walters!

The Improvers' Fast Track Lessons are for anybody who has 1) had more than six salsa lessons 2) started improvers lessons or 3) has been dancing salsa for a while with no formal instruction on technique and related matters.

To summarize things, the Improvers' Fast Track lessons are for people who want to progress to the intermediate/ Advanced levels ASAP, and have already mastered the basic/beginners' steps. The beginners' lessons will be equally intensive and make get confident in what you are doing.

Lessons' Focus: Leading and following technique

      Crossbody lead and turns

      Spins (Single and multiple)

      Routines (Short and long)

      Music interpretation and partner connection.

If you believe you are stuck doing basic stuff and feel like learning more, then the improvers' is the right class for you.

Admission: $10 one class, $15 for Two lessons or Special Offer $40(Punch card) for five lessons anytime.

The punch card is also valid for our Tuesday lessons with other instructors.

Take the Fast Track - Learn to Ballroom Dance! (mon) Map (Dance, Lesson)
Want to learn to Ballroom Dance? Take the Fast Track at Walters Dance Center! We have set up our Saturday night & Monday Night group classes in a way that allows you to take classes for each basic Ballroom Dance for three months! The first class for each dance is on Saturday night. Then, the following month, you can take a Beginning class in the same dance on Monday night. The third month, you can take the Intermediate Class on Monday night for the same dance. At that time you should feel very comfortable with each dance.
