Adolpho's is a very classy disco with a hard-tile (ceramic, brick-sized) dance floor, about 15x30 feet. $5 cover, Music is funk, disco, retro, most is easy to rock or salsa to and once in a while slow dance. The DJ sits in a booth high over the floor (a window way up on the back wall). No food. This is downtown Kansas City, MO. Parking is on the street (no meters have to be fed in the evening) and parking lots are next door and directly opposite.

The dress is enforced (no sneakers, no jeans, etc.) at the discretion of the folks at the door. The folks at the door wear tuxedos (not those "security-person" T-shirts). Bartenders wear tux pants and pleated shirts. You will feel comfortable and be right in tune with everyone else if you wear good-for-office wear or better or decent evening wear.

Dress Down on Mon/Wed (jeans allowed)
