The dance area is the center of the room - an area roughly 15x30. It
is a smooth surfaced, painted concrete floor. Not too many partner dancers
and an occasional alchohol-drinking contest.
Very colorful decor with a "Key West" and Carribean theme. Mostly rock music (70's, 80's 90's). Normally very full on the weekends. Banana Joe's is a restaurant and bar, open for lunch, dinner and late night snacks. Sandwiches, soups, salads, etc. This is on the southwest end of the Great Mall of the Great Plains (take the highway 7 exit and head west a 1/4 mile along 151st) - look for the Oshman's sign and go in that exit. Banana Joe's is to the left as you enter. |
