The Liquid Lounge is one jumping joint most
of the week. Friday nights a swing band is hot entertainment (generally
the Dave Stephens Swing Orchestra, bottom right). The dance area is in
the front of the building, right up with the band (which plays with its
back to the window).
Crowd is mostly 20's and a
little above. A lot of conversation, some hot steppin' and a very packed
lounge.
